When planning her own nuptials, Maida Vale designer Heather Locke searched far and wide for a nontraditional wedding invitation that reflected her modern taste within a less-than-extravagant budget. When the search came up short, she took matters into her own hands to create an invitation that was a labor of love.

A graduate of Indiana University's School of Fine Arts, Heather's career began as a graphic designer in the newspaper industry. More recently, she found success as an art director at an award-winning interactive agency. A life-long appreciation for all things paper combined with a passion for working one-on-one with clients led to the establishment of Maida Vale in 2006.

Maida Vale believes that no couple should be denied a stylish wedding invitation or birth announcement due to budget constraints. Because of this, our collection of classic wedding invitations and charming birth announcements is available in two affordable printing styles: offset lithography and letterpress.
